The Winter Park Farmer's Market



Come wander with me to my favorite Saturday-morning spot. This Farmer's Market bursts with activity each Saturday morning and it's a great place to meet people, get some reading done, and buy fresh veggies, bread, honey, etc. I often go with a friend, Miranda, and we enjoy laying in the park and chatting after munching on delicious pastries from the French couple (we can never bring ourselves to buy from anyone else because those apple tarts, goat cheese quiche, and croissants are to die for!).

My favorite part of the whole thing is the big round tables located under an awning near all the food. People gather there with coffee and breakfast foods and I love striking up conversation. Over the past couple of months, Miranda and I have made friends with an older lady named Mary Lou. We chat about about everything from school to her growing-up years to boys to traveling and everything in between. It's fun to chat with families and meet both locals and visitors (I've met folks from Egypt, London, Dubai, just name a few. But, since a picture's worth a thousand words, dive into this refreshing world:
